No flight model is authentic if the tires are not right. Since it is difficult to find adequate tires on the market, HD-Print has made it their task to close this gap.
Our molds
The surface details were taken from the original tires from 2009. Every detail, right down to the barcode, was duplicated. The production takes place in high quality aluminum molds.
Our tires
We are currently producing tires that serve as a direct replacement for the tires of the Yellow Aircraft twin Hornet in the scale 1 / 6.9 (also GenericFly and UR-Modellbau). They fit exactly on the rims of Yellow Aircraft, as they do on all identical rims. With a diameter of 100mm (original diameter Yellow Aircraft), they are slightly smaller than they should be for scale competition, but they are guaranteed to fit in any existing wheel well.

If it should be absolutely scale, then of course we also have a solution. A tire with true-to-scale 110mm diameter is in preparation. It is mounted on a scale rim with an integrated rotor-stator brake from our own production. Delivery until around summer 2022.
